I don't geek out much about TV shows turned movies. This one I'll have to make an exception.

Speed Racer Trailer

Got mixed feelings about it. I was glad to hear the the Wachowski Bros (or is it brother/sister now) were writing the script. Saw the trailer and things really looks kinda iffy now, but I do see the flavor of the TV show coming through. The kaladiscope of colors. Can't deny the show looked it, but what's up with that goofy helmet? Speed make a jump into Tron? Pops not wearing a cap?

I'll be there opening night.
